“Good decisions come from experience. Experience comes from making bad decisions” – Mark Twain
The time was near.
My mind started racing, and I believed I was making the best choice. While I haven’t always made the right choices, I’ve consistently learned valuable lessons from them over time.
I scanned my childhood home, which I grew up in. I have lived here for 23 years.
I observed my friends and me grow together here, each embarking on new journeys. I watched the snow blanket the ground every winter and seized every opportunity to go skiing, even on school days! The memories I made here will always remain with me, yet I worry that change may lead me away blind.
”Is leaving Colorado worth it ?” I asked myself.
Dreams have always been a big part of my imagination. Leaving home and living off the grid is an astounding feat to accomplish. Imagine building a tiny house in the mountains of a foreign country and living peacefully. Now, that sounds like a good idea.
